Κασκόλ, Μαντήλια, τσάντες και μία ολόμαλλη κουβέρτα ήρθαν για να πουληθούν στη δημοπρασία που θα γίνει για να ενισχυθεί η αναδάσωση της περιοχής της Βορειοανατολικής Αττικής που επλήγη από τις φωτιές. Η φωτογραφία είναι από το Γραμματικό, κοιτάμε δυτικά προς Καλέντζι και λίμνη Μαραθώνα.

these are all beautiful, and I am sure they will impress visitors to our auction- we are grateful for these donations. My feeling is that all the objects that have arrived and are on their way have a special importance and meaning. they are not just objects- they are donations of time, of thought and caring. they are little packets of hope for the future, carrying the message that there are people who care enough to take the time to make beauty with their hands and make the effort to get out there and post their creations to help this project.

είναι όμορφα τα έργα, και είμαι σίγουρη ότι θα εντυπωσιάσουν τους επισκέπτες της έκθεσης. πιστεύω ότι όλα τα αντικείμενα, έργα τέχνης και χειροτεχνίες τα οποία έχουν ήδη φτάσει ή βρίσκονται στο δρόμο κουβαλάνε ένα σημαντικό μήνυμα, δεν είναι απλώς "αντικείμενα". Είναι μικρά πακέτα ελπίδας, μας λένε ότι υπάρχουν άνθρωποι που νοιάζονται, που δίνουν από το χρόνο τους για να δημιουργήσουν κάτι με τα ίδια τους τα χέρια, και που μπαίνουν στον κόπο να βγουν και να τα ταχυδρομήσουν, για να ενισχύσουν την προσπάθειά μας.

quick update

this is just to say that general elections combined with computer problems have kept the posts back. Decisions have been made, new contacts and of course arrivals. I believe most problems have been resolved, and I will post in detail about the course of the project later today.

οι εκλογές σε συνδυασμό με προβλήματα τεχνολογίας καθυστέρησαν την ενημέρωση του ιστολογίου. Στο μεταξύ έχουν παρθεί αποφάσεις, συνεχίζονται οι επαφές και φυσικά έχουμε καινούργιες αφίξεις. Πιστεύω ότι τα τεχνικής φύσεως προβλήματα έχουν επιλυθεί και θα ακολουθήσει ενημέρωση για την πορεία της δράσης αργότερα σήμερα.
